For the Fall 2025 semester, Otis introduced a starter set of locally hosted AI generative tools in Room 411, including Stable Diffusion, WAN, FramePack, and more. We’re excited to continue expanding this toolkit, providing students with even more opportunities to explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies.
Students also have access to Adobe Firefly through their Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
You can further explore additional web-based tools such as Google ImageFX, MidJourney, or other options listed in the Reddit article below:

Currently, Adobe only offers access to partner (non-Adobe) generative AI models for specific types of organizations. These models are not available for EDU, Higher Education (HEDU), K–12, or Shared Device Licensing (SDL) institutions. This restriction is in place due to the heightened privacy and data-protection requirements that apply to educational organizations.
If Adobe expands its support in the future, we will make it available to you.
Google AI Studio
Otis students, staff, and faculty can access Google AI Studio by signing in with their school account.
For more information, see the Google AI Studio documentation:
ImageFX
ImageFX is an experimental tool developed by Google that allows users to generate images from text prompts using advanced AI technology. It's part of Google Labs' suite of AI experiments and is powered by Google's Imagen 2 model, which delivers high-quality, photorealistic images based on user input
Key Features:
Text-to-Image Generation: Users can create images by simply entering descriptive text prompts.
Expressive Chips: The interface features "expressive chips," which are suggested keywords that enable users to quickly experiment with various styles and concepts, thereby enhancing their creativity.
Editing Capabilities: After generating an image, users can edit it by adding or removing elements and changing its style through additional prompts
To access ImageFX, visit https://labs.google/fx/tools/image-fx and sign in with your Google account. Please note that availability may be limited to certain regions, and the tool is currently in an experimental phase.
